Asana House

Asana House, Montclair’s first organic juice bar yoga lounge opened its doors for business on Saturday, December 13, 2008. Asana House has a stylish and comfortable décor and serves organic coffee, a variety of teas, made to order juice combinations, wheat grass, smoothies, soup and healthy snacks. All the juice combinations and smoothies are made from natural ingredients with a home made base such as almond milk or fresh orange juice.
Founded by Deborah Williams and Charles Secallus, Asana House combines a juice bar and a space for yoga which seem to be a perfect combination. Yoga is one of the oldest forms of physical purification and juicing is one of the best ways to enhance the benefits of this experience for optimal health. The external body is a refection of our internal light. Yoga students can practice Ashtanga yoga with an early morning Mysore program, Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Led Ashtanga on Tuesday and Thursday evenings as well as Saturday mornings. Special events such as music, film, discussion as well as a boutique round out the experience at Asana House located at 127 Valley Road, Montclair, NJ.
