Join Jazz House Kids for day of swinging music at the third annual Montclair Jazz Festival in Nishuane Park, Montclair, Saturday, August 18, from 12:00 to 7:00 pm.
Jazz lovers will be treated to a lineup that features a one-of-a-kind trio with Joe Lovano, Christian McBride and Billy Drummond; The Bronx Horns, originally one of the mainstays of Tito Puente's Latin Ensemble and others. WBGO Jazz 88.3FM on-air host Sheila Anderson will be festival emcee.
Admission is free – bring lawn chairs (fishing or sand chairs please), blankets, and picnic baskets. Food vendors will be on site for tasty options.

The show goes on rain or shine – in the event of rain, the location will be the Salvation Army Citadel, 13 Trinity Place in Montclair. See map.
The inaugural Montclair Jazz Festival was organized two years ago, primarily as a way to celebrate the end of a summer classes at Jazz House Kids. Today, the event has blossomed into much more than that—a festival designed to draw jazz lovers of all ages from the region.
