Michael Reitman BandThe Church Street Summer Music Festival, sponsored by Tapastry Restaurant, proudly presents The Michael Reitman Band outdoors on the corner of Church Street and Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, on July 7th from 7-10pm. Opening and closing for the band will be Let It Slide lead guitarist, the imcomparable Julian Keenan (www.reverbnation.com/letitslide).

Reitman is an accomplished blues guitarist who frequently performs at Montclair’s popular venues and was a hit feature at last year’s First Night Montclair New Year’s Eve celebration. His band, the TNT Ramblers (Temple Ner Tamid Ramblers), is an outreach group from Temple Ner Tamid, Bloomfield, which for the last six years has been playing every month for Toni's Kitchen at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Montclair. Known for his fund-raising efforts, Reitman has played solo events such as The Taste of Montclair and with various line-ups for causes affiliated with Parents Who Rock. He hosts the popular Acoustic Open Mic at Hat City Kitchen every other Tuesday where he also performs.

Montclair local Michael Devito (lead slide guitar) has a deep appreciation for blues, jazz and roots music. He plays electric, acoustic and baritone guitar and lap steel. Michael is a founding member of the Blue Shadows, a New Brunswick-based blues band, and played for many years with the Blue Shadow Dogs in NYC.

Jason DeSalvo (bass) is a long-time Montclair resident and is a partner in one of the World’s premier manufacturers of electric bass guitars — Fodera Guitars. DeSalvo began playing bass guitar himself at the age of 12. He is involved with numerous charities including Montclair’s own — Jazz House Kids — as a member of its Board of Directors.

The Church Street Summer Music Festival is a popular Thursday and Saturday night outdoor summer concert series managed and hosted by Meg Beattie and Julian Keenan. In the event of inclement weather, the concerts move indoors to the Tapastry Restaurant main dining room at 12 Church Street, Montclair.

Tapastry Restaurant owners Cheryl and Greg Spinelli, are delighted to present the annual music festival once again as an opportunity to foster the arts while serving up their exciting al fresco tapas dining experience. Tapastry's authentic menu is created by Chef Gonzolo Fernandez. BYOB. No Cover. Tapastry Restaurant, 12 Church Street, Montclair. For reservations, call 973-233-0216.
