DestinationMontclair.com was made possible in part through a grant from the NJ Department of Tourism for the Montclair Arts Council to create a destination marketing campaign to increase awareness of Montclair's many cultural offerings and unique restaurants, shops, galleries and boutiques. Typically, visitors from surrounding towns who come to Montclair for dinner or a performance are surprised by the variety of options. "If only I knew, I would have come earlier," is a common refrain.

The DestinationMontclair.com website makes it easier for residents and visitors to discover local businesses by offering itineraries and cross-promotions that match up complementary cultural events with retailers and restaurants. The message is simple: no need to travel far to enjoy uncommon, memorable experiences.
