O Soleil

Think sun, sunshine and all the warmth, energy, beauty and happiness one gets from the sun. That's O Soleil. Owner Isabelle Lesniak is French, she is France. Born and raised in the city of Lyon and Meribel, a small village in the French Alps, she was among other things, an avid traveller. One of her many travels was a fateful trip to the United States to attend the wedding of her brother, where she met the American man who became her husband. She left France to start a life in the "States", settling in Montclair raising two children, becoming an American citizen. She was settled, or so she thought. But the lure of France was always present, so, in an effort to combine the two worlds, both of which she loved, she decided to open a boutique that would mix the ideas and creations of both cultures, featuring both French and American designers and their products. For the home, the kitchens, the bath. Clothing and jewelry Objets d'art. The result is a combination that creates a unique dynamic, one that is warm and inviting, one by which it is a pleasure to be surrounded. Like the embrace of the sun.
